The Big Womble
The Big Womble is being organised to raise the profile of charitable furniture re-use by members of the Furniture Re-use Network.
These organisations help 3/4 million households per year with affordable furniture, electrical items, computers, bicycles and household items. The items are collected from households, council sites and businesses across the UK by 400 independent charities.
To promote the sector the FRN has approached celebrities to donate a household item to be raffled in our members shops across the UK. We hope to raise some money for the FRN and our members and attract publicity for the work we do across the country.
The draw will be held on 20th February 2009 at Wimbledon College.
We would like to thank Chorion Rights Limited for giving us permission to use the Wombles brand.
The Furniture Re-use Network is a registered charity and a company limited by Guarantee Charity Number 1090824 and Company Number 4154818.

The raffle is registered under the Gambling Act 2005 Lottery Licence No. 000-010022-N-104493-001
